Why Qatar Airways CEO resigned suddenly after 27 years ....

What caused Akbar Al Baker, the CEO of Qatar Airways for 27 years, to abruptly leave?

The formal statement says that he resigned and that someone else has taken his place.

Nothing about this makes sense or seems right! At a company this size, you would expect a transitional change in management. Many people were shocked when he quit without any pomp or ceremony . Given the fact that he has been the CEO of this company for 27 years and has won a lot of awards.
We might never learn more!
I hope that the standard of the airline stays the same.

Massacre after massacre

What terrible people are leading our world ? How incredibly coward you must be to target a hospital ? 😱🌍 A hospital !

I am absolutely devastated . 😭💔 I have dreamed a more progressive world for myself for our children ! 🌍✨

Can't deal with these backward , retarded power-hungry egoists! 😩💔

Humans got no other perspective than creating societies rooted
in solidarity . 💪🌍
Apartheid, racism, war mongering = major crimes! 💔✋🚫

The tale of the American cave explorer and the Hungarian medical caver

At the begining  of September  2023  an American cave  explorer  found  himself  very unwell  deep in a cave in Southern  Turkey . At the depth of 1,000 meters !

At the same time  a Hungarian  female doctor  was  about to start  her   workday  in a countryside   town , Ballasagyarmat .Then   she   got a call .

She  had to  leave  at once. A  fellow  caver  was  in very big  trouble .He was in desperate need of a skilled cave rescuer. Not just any rescuer would do, though. They required someone with both experience and medical expertise.

It was  Dr Zsófia Zádor  the only one at that moment who  had  the  rare quality of being  a doctor  and  a cave  rescuer  at the  same time and ready  to  go ...

I can't express how much I respect the cavers for their bravery. I was raised in a special  town in Hungary where many people had the hobby of exploring caves, and I had heard about it a lot. Caves may be hazardous. Unknown currents swallowing humans in the lake cave's  depths. Such tales from my youth come to mind.

Still  cave exploring remaines  a popular activity in some areas in Hungary .

That  is how  this  Hungarian  woman took  up   this past time  activity  during her  years at the medical university .

That  was  the luck  of the American   caver .   This  woman was ready to go . She was  at the mouth  of the  cave  within  24 hours . Then  she  climbed 13  hours  down to reach  her patient .

He was more than  just  a  patient . Actually ,they knew each other .  He was  a a fellow  caver  , a friend  for a longtime .

Another incredible  luck of this  American  caver  was  his fiancee  Jessica . She was a paramedic  and fearlessly  climbed up  and down  tirelessly bringing for him  medical   aid  .  Do not   forget  !1000 meter  depths !

Long  story short . The  Hungarian  doctor  set  up  an  ICU   down  there .  She began  the  blood   transfusion .  Stabilized  the patient  and  climbed up .      At the  surface she  was replaced by other doctors . She was a woman  who was  terribly  exhausted !

The patient  emerged at the surface  after 9 days  down there with a  bleeding   stomach !   A helicopter swiftly  took  him away to the hospital  and   his    was operated . He luckily  survived .   Against  all odds .

Very profound respect for the Hungarian doctor, the committed fiancee, the three cave rescue team assistants, and everyone else who was willing to descend into the depths of the cave to aid a fellow human being in need.

This story profoundly moved me.It's not only because I was born in a town with lots of caves. However, the hospital itself where I was   born is built over a cave system. Caves that had been investigated.caves with a unique environment where persons with respiratory problems can find relief.

People with the same kind of courage once went into those caves...

Rally Accident - Al-Attiyah&Baumel

Just read  the news that defending champ Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah had to withdraw from the Lebanon International Rally! 😢💔 This is the fourth round of the Middle East Rally Championship, and it's such a   pity  that he got involved in a serious accident yesterday. 🚗💥

No worry, they're both totally fine and in great health, thank goodness! Unfortunately, their car took quite a beating and suffered some major damage, which means they won't be able to finish the rest of the rally.

10k people missing in Libya - mind-boggling numbers

Can you believe it? 😱 There are like 10k people missing in Libya! It's absolutely mind-blowing!  They're probably gone after the dams burst! 😱💔

What's the real cause of this tragic loss? 😢💔
OMG, the dams weren't even renovated! 😱 Then this crazy storm came and  the dam fell! 🌪️ Can you believe it? And to make things worse, the authorities totally misguided people by telling them to stay at home instead of evacuating. 🤦‍♀️

Dam breaks have happened before. The largest occurred in China in 1975, although they occurred worldwide. Human error, corruption, poor engineering, etc. cause it.

Always should  be maintained and monitored the safety.
Dams + corrupt government = catastrophe

Frozen Ocra Worries -MOPH answer

Hey everyone! 🌟 Exciting news! The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) just confirmed that our beloved local market frozen okra is totally safe and meets all the technical rules and specifications. 🙌🥦 So, you can enjoy your delicious okra dishes without any worries! 💚

Recently came across some news that's quite concerning. 🤔 It seems that there have been some bug infestations reported in frozen okra from the "Zero" brand by Sanabel, all the way from Egypt. 😱 I mean, bugs in our food? That's definitely not what we signed up for, right? 🙅‍♀️ It's crucial to stay informed and be aware of such issues, especially when it comes to our health and well-being. 🌱

Hamad Port Visitor Center - book your visit

Where exactly is this place? The official address is actually the Hamad Port Visitors Center, located in Umm AL-Houl, Qatar. It takes about 40 minutes by car to get there from Doha.

ADVERTISED TICKETS

Adult and above 12 years old 50 QAR
Child between 5 and 12 years old 30 QAR
Child below 5 years old Free

Based on my previous booking experiences, it appears that only online tickets are available and the accepted payment method is limited to credit card transactions. Furthermore, it is essential to make a reservation well in advance. If you are planning to visit on the weekends.

The Hamad Port Visitors Center is a one-of-a-kind structure created specifically to highlight Qatar's maritime heritage and accomplishments. The facility has a maritime museum, a 4D theater, virtual simulators, an auditorium, a kids' play area, and Qatar's first oceanic aquarium.

What do people think about it ?

Those who had complaints about the place mentioned the inconvenient opening hours for families and the only online ticketing possibilities.
Not working cinema while full price had to be paid. Technical failures with the ticketing were the major issues with this new place in Qatar, according to Google reviews.

Other people had better experiences like :

" Weekend tickets should be booked a week in advance. They organized and kept everything perfectly." " Aquatic life is well-represented in the aquarium. Good car parking." " Inside viewing takes 1.5 hours easy." " In summary, Hamad Port and Aquarium is not just a place to visit; it's an adventure, an education, and a wonder all rolled into one. A must-visit for both locals and tourists alike!" " The 4D Theatre experience was especially enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. Make sure you go for the show in the language that you can follow and check that you get the 4D experience as this could be accidentally turned off. You even get to experience water and wind 🙂"

Cupping therapy in Qatar - by Umm Slal Health Center

As part of a pilot phase, Umm Slal Health Center now offers this ancient practice to enhance patient health, expedite recovery, and prioritize patient safety.

Patients who can participate in this program are those who have been diagnosed with chronic headaches of unknown causes, refractory migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome without the need for surgery, muscle imbalances and postural dysfunction, refractory muscle spasms, neck and upper or lower back pain, and chronic diseases such as eczema and asthma, as well as skin diseases like acne.

Cupping therapy is generally safe, but it's important to keep in mind that it may not be suitable for everyone. According to PHCC, pregnant women and patients with certain conditions such as acute hepatitis, tuberculosis, heart disease, arrhythmia, pacemaker implantation, blood clotting diseases like hereditary hemorrhagic disease, use of anticoagulants, severe anemia, and kidney failure should avoid this type of therapy.
