Qatar-based Indian student publishes book series - won the Guinness World Records

Laiba Abdul Basit, an 11-year-old student from Qatar, has set a Guinness World Record for being the youngest female to publish a book series. Laiba, from the southern Indian state of Kerala, achieved this feat after her second book was published on August 29, 2021, at the age of ten years and 164 days. Laiba wrote a fantasy story for kids called "Order of the Galaxy," which she turned into a three-book series. "The War for the Stolen Boy," the first book in this series, was published by Amazon and then by Lulu Online. The second book in the series, "The Snowflake of Life," was published by Tawasul International in Rome. The last book in the series, "The Book of Legends," was published by Lipi Publications in India. Lipi Publications also put out the second editions of both of her first and second books.

From what I've seen, Indian teens are very creative. Many of them write and paint, and they sing beautifully. Unfortunately, parents and teachers often try to stop them from doing these things because they don't see them as "serious future jobs."

Congrats  Laiba  and  Good Luck !

The Inland Sea Qatar - UNESCO natural reserve

It's also a UNESCO natural reserve and one of only two places in the world where desert dunes meet the sea.

We think the best way to get there is in a 4x4 vehicle or on a desert safari.
