Quick glimpses from the Coffee festival.Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the charming festival at Old Doha Port area. The air was filled with the pleasant melodies of Spanish songs, complemented by the delightful weather. A flamenco dancer added a touch of excitement to the ambiance.

The event's main sponsor was the Venezuelan company Botalon. This brand isn't exactly a household name around here, and unfortunately, they weren't giving out any samples. Looks like folks weren't too keen on purchasing their morning brew.

  I enjoyed a delightful Italian latte from the V. cafe, followed by some delicious gelato from another Italian stand, and topped it off with a tasty Nablusi basbosa. I made a smart choice and it definitely lived up to my expectations.

 In Congo's heart, where jungles whisper tales,

Where waters flow and diamonds gleam in veils,

Lithium's pulse beats beneath the soil's embrace,

A land of wealth, yet struggles we must face.

Visiting the pavilion of DR Congo was one of my saddest experiences during Expo 2003 in Doha. So far, I did not know that this country, having so much potential, is so poor and exploited.

It has water, diamonds, lithium, cobalt, gold, copper, jungle, cocoa. It would be difficult even to list everything.

Still, they are one of the poorest people in the world. They live on a daily $2 to cover all their needs.

Almost full moon. A walk in the park a couple of days ago. The moon was shining very beautifully. It  was pleasant weather, and the crickets chirped cheerfully .

A lonely performer in the tent of light. The park's evening air was filled with the sound of crickets chirping, a lute's voice, and the voice of a solitary Arab singer.

Ramadan decorations in the park. Similar booths were scattered around. They  had some luxurious vibes.  However, everyone was welcome    to   relax   there .

The medical team at Al Wakra Hospital successfully treated a couple with infertility, resulting in the wife giving birth to quadruplets in perfect health.

Some interesting facts : the couple has been trying to get baby for 14 years

this was the first quadruplet pregnancy since February 2022, when the Assisted Reproduction Unit was established

The unit has seen about 446 people since it opened, and during that time, more over 100 IVF attempts have been made, with a pregnancy rate of up to 65%

Referrals to the unit come from infertility clinics, HMC hospitals, and both government and private centers.

The patient is given priority if she is older than 35.
