The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has seen and recorded dolphins and whale sharks in the northern waters of Qatar. These sightings prove that Qatar's marine environment is rich with life and show that the Ministry's work to protect sea creatures and their homes is making a difference.

🦈 Whale shark sightings follow a strong seasonal pattern. In the summer, they are very common – even daily or weekly – in the hotspot area. However, outside of summer, they are rarely seen or completely absent.
🐬 Dolphins, on the other hand, can be spotted throughout the year. Their presence is steady and reliable, but they do not gather in the same dramatic concentrations as whale sharks during peak season.
