Qatar's Ministry of Transport has issued an immediate safety advisory, suspending all maritime activities for leisure boats, fishing boats, jet skis, and similar private vessels until further notice. Commercial vessels that follow international maritime conventions—such as cargo ships and tankers—are exempt from this suspension.
The temporary measure was coordinated with security authorities and mirrors Qatar's previous precautionary halts during periods of heightened regional tensions in the Persian Gulf.
