 Qatar is at the bottom of the chart . It was very strange to me when I moved here  that there are almost no villages and village tourism here . The other thing that I found strange that local people living in the big city escape to another big city for their summer vacations . London is their favorite destination  .On the other hand  there are so many Indians living in Qatar and many of them come from villages . This way they represent the village culture  here . It means that it happened to me  that I faced some escaped geese or lovely roosters  while walking in  our area . That means in the center . Though it is forbidden  but it exists .

Nipah virus in India - banned fruit import in Qatar and other countries

So far seventeen people were killed by the Nipah virus in India .😲 This deadly virus comes from fruit bats who pee on the fruits 🍏 , bite them and leave their saliva on the trees and fruits .

 Qatar and many other countries in  the region banned the fruit and vegetable import from India .

 The travel to Kerala is  not recommended .

 Good luck to all of us  .!  I bought on Saturday some mango from the Spar supermarket in Doha .I washed them very well - thinking that it might be infected only by the bat's urine . I did not know about the bites . It might take  five  - ten days  after the contact with the virus that symptoms start to appear .

 The incident  happened more than one hour after departure . The pilot fell ill - the First Officer landed the plane safely . It was Goa international airport - the closest place .

Everyone arrived in Doha by another plane -safely .

a friend of ours had just returned from india and gave us a laughing brahmin statue . or is it rather a laughing buddha ? he is quite fat - with big belly and is holding honey and butter .It is difficult to understand how buddha could be fat .he had been fasting in the wood ..
anyway, we found some days ago a yoga master who teaches you how to laugh on purpose - to relax and give a massage to your whole body . try it !

Funniest taxi driver

It happened to us four years ago.I had to
go with my child to a school celebration .We were new to Doha and being
so were not very confident about going out on our own .But my husband
was very busy and we had no choice but to take taxi .

The driver
looked like a North Indian guy wearing beautifully embroidered small
cap .As he started driving he spitted through the window and started
singing .It was very very funny .My first thought was that az extra charge must be paid in Venice when the guy in gondola is singing .I wondered if the same would happen to us .
My second concern was how to restrain from laughing .It was not an easy task . We pretended to cough during the trip.
However , the song was very nice , I guess a North Indian folk song .I feel sorry that I had not been able to record it ...

The thing that I really liked in Doha when we moved here was that it gave me so much information about the Indian art and culture .India was a great dream for me and I could see it here more or less without having to face the shady sides of that country .
I was happy to discover some words similar in Hungarian , the similiraty in cooking , and in the names. my grandmother s last name happens to be"ranga " , which is the name of millions of Indian as well .
It means colors in Hindi .
Kutta means dog in hindi , in Hungarian it is kutya .There is a state in India called
Bihar . There is a county in Hungary , it is also called Bihar .
The other day I found myself in a Kashmiri souvenir shop :Reshmi . I was shocked to see how the embroidery of that area is similar to the one of South Hungary .
A new mystery to be solved .
