Astronomer Ajith Everester is predicting a dazzling display of shooting stars at Al Kharrara, Al Wakrah on December 13 and 14 .
The meteor shower, originating from the Gemini constellation, is associated with the debris trail left by its parent asteroid, 3200 Phaethon.
The shower is expected to rise after 7pm, reach overhead at 2am, and remain visible throughout the night.
The event promises an exceptional view of the meteor shower, with the moon in its new phase.
The Everester Observatory invites the public to this free celestial exhibition.
Ajith Everester or Navin Anand can be reached via WhatsApp at 5548 2045 and 3088 9582 for event guidelines.
