Monday morning, a security guard was murdered at the embassy of Qatar in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. At 6:20 a.m., a cleaning lady at the embassy saw two men engaged in violent conversation. One of them is the on-duty guard; she has never seen the other.
Then they began to exchange blows.
According to her, the attacker would have then obtained "a paperweight, which he flung at the security guard before fatally striking him."
Faced with the situation, the housekeeper takes cover and calls her husband to alert the police.
The police and firefighters then arrive at the scene, but are unable to enter the embassy grounds due to a lack of authorization.
Before entering, they must wait in front of the buildingt until 7:30 a.m.
Once inside, they discover the victim lying on the ground.
At 8:24 a.m., despite the efforts of emergency services , he was pronounced dead at the scene. The assailant was nearby. He was arrested.
