Divines film success - Cesars 2017
I found a good pizza place - Castello
Hadn't got some vouchers to this small restaurant I would have never found out that there is wonderful pizza available in Al- Jazeera street right next to the Centro hotel . Simply it looks from outside like one of those cheap small places that target Asian workers of Doha .
I can not tell you a lot about the place itself but the food - as we had take-away lunch . Their pizzas were really wonderful - I can highly recommend them . Light and savory . Once I heard that the best pizzas in Italy are made by Egyptians . I think this is a fine example of that just it is located right here in Doha .
We tried some chicken in mushroom sauce and it was excellent too .
Parking can be a bit difficult .

The Travel Clinic at Hamad Hospital
This is a new service of the government's hospital The Hamad Medical Corporation’s . It is very much needed as nearly everyone is travelling in Qatar .
you might need it mainly in two cases
1 . you are travelling somewhere and you need to protect yourself from communicable diseases /you need advice about how to prevent those diseases
2 . you just came back from abroad and you suspect that you got infection
treatment and counseling is free and most of the vaccines as well ( Meningococcal vaccine, rabies vaccine, typhoid
vaccine, MMR vaccine, haemophilus influenza
type B, diphtheria, tetanus, acellular
pertussis (TdaP) vaccine, tetanus vaccine,
yellow fever vaccine, hepatitis A vaccine,
hepatitis B vaccine, pneumococcal
vaccine,seasonal flu vaccine and polio vaccine)

That is really sensational !
My humble question is only why the technological developments are not used to save children's lives in war torn Yemen ? Why drones and robots are not there to throw food for those besieged people whom the aid workers can not reach ?
I might be stupid but this simple question keeps coming to my mind whenever I see those starving little souls ...

National Sports Day 2017 - my experience
It was not the best Sports Day of my life . It was raining and the programs outside were cancelled . We visited the Education City as the previous years we had nice experience there .
We found out that there was not much to do for kids there . However we played bowling ,billiards , walked in the Oxygen Park and had healthy lunch at the food court of the Student's Center . Most of the programs were shifted to the Shaqab and there were no buses available Though the previous years there were free QF buses running between the Education City and Shaqab . Walking was not allowed -as we were informed at the gates of this horse riding facility .
Also I found strange that 10 rials had to be payed for the bowling per person . Not big thing just the previous years it was free .
There were a good number of families turning up in the EC and after all we did not mind that the crowd was somewhere else .Just the atmosphere was not festive at all to me .
The illuminated Oxygen Park was really wonderful sight ! And it was full of oxygen -after the rain !

Expect rain and thunderstorms especially in the evenings . Until Friday night -then Saturday the cold spell is coming . Be prepared for very cold weather !
I have just read an article about thunderstorms and dangers of taking showers - using water /devices though it is very rare - death can happen .
