 Just a typical winter day in Qatar .  When the sun sets it is nice to wear a warmer cardigan ,sweater  etc .

18 C -22 C degree .The most enjoyable  time of the year . Have a nice time !

Winter in Qatar 2014

Winter came back to Qatar .It is 15 C at night with chilly winds at times .It is the time when we seek the sun of the

noon and we are cold when the sun sets .It is the time when I turn my kitchen into bakery with pleasure . It is the

time when we make and drink karak .It is the time when it is nice sitting on the sofa -all of us covered by one blanket

and heated by each other .
I love winter .I always did .Even when I had to shovel the snow from the yard to be able to get out from my home in

the mornings . Even when I had to melt the ice on my roof to prevent the damage on it .Winter was such a fun when I

was child and a challenge later when I grew up.This memory lives strong in me . And all those memories and

feelings mixed in me in a way that it is hard to find the words .Then I listen to this piece of music and I feel that

Vivaldi told everything that is possible to tell about this season .

It is spring in Qatar

It is spring in Qatar . We might have some cold spells in February   but it is usually like April in Europe .Yesterday it was sunny ,warm and no wind . I live in an old part of the city  where you can find a lots of trees . Birds were singing so cheerfully . Today it was    cloudy and a bit windy in the morning . Birds were still singing but not so happily . However I think winter with cold winds  lasted only ten days .

Cold winds are blowing in Qatar . It is about 17 C ...The other day my mum called me and told that it was unusually hot in Hungary  - it was 14 C  . So  we had some days when the weather was very similar in the two countries ... very rarely it happens so !
 Not only the temperature but the lack of  precipitation is  also worrisome in  my home country. For four months there was no rain at all in some parts of South Hungary . And in Qatar last week it was raining heavily .
So we can say that Qatar is a wetter place than South Hungary .:)

Be prepared cold nights are coming with 7 C !
