Team Qatar at the Asian Winter Games – Harbin

Qatar has no real winter—what they call winter feels more like early spring in Europe. Yet, their commitment to sports allowed them to send athletes to the Asian Winter Games 2025 in Harbin. Qatar will compete in curling (men & women), short-track speed skating (men), ski mountaineering (men), and snowboarding (men).

Interesting fact: Despite being a low-lying country, Qatar has passionate climbers, both male and female, who take on international mountaineering challenges. Their dedication extends beyond the desert, reaching icy peaks worldwide.
