Quick Lunch at Le Notre - French cafe

The wonderful November weather was so inviting . The terrace of the Le Notre French Cafe was a perfect spot for an urban outdoor lunch .
Le Notre French Cafe
It is located on the busy Suhaim bin Hamad street - but it is well fenced and somehow one feels protected . The valet parking is free . The waiter at the terrace was quick to take our order and we got the sandwiches within ten minutes .
I had consulted their menu online but it was completely different from what I have found on zomato.com . The dishes were unexpected and prices were very high for main courses -around 100 rials . So we decided to take some sandwiches instead a hot meal .( 50 rials )
Mini baguettes with tapenade&butter were served as appetizers .

My sandwich nicoise came with a small bowl of rocca salad and some crisps . The sandwich itself was tasty -some tuna spread &vegetables though it did not come in ciabatta rolls as it was described on the menu but in a simple burger bun .
The mille feuille was a bit too sweet to me and the vanilla filling tasted a bit commercial .
Service was very polite and quick .
