Forgotten piece of gauze inside the Qatari patient cost the surgeon QR1MN

It happened in Qatar during a stomach banding operation . The patient has suffered a  lot due to the forgotten piece of gauze in her body . She had been suffering a  lot being treated for half year abroad .
The Civilian Court  has ordered  the hospital  to pay  QR1MN as compensation . That is around   USD 274,650.00 .

 The name of the surgeon and the hospital  was not  mentioned in the short article  of Gulf Times  .
