Baby was born on board of Qatar Airways Flight

Delighted to welcome a new member on the flight last night.

We'll be waiting for the baby's call in 20 years time to join us in the flight deck. 👶➡️🧑‍✈️ https://t.co/SXbotRLy1U

A baby boy  was born at 35,000 feet on the  flight from Doha to Bangkok .👶✈
Luckily there was a doctor on board who helped with the delivery .
Qatar Airways does not usually  allow  pregnant women to fly beyond 36 weeks  .
So this might have been a premature birth . They made emergency landing in Kolkatta .
Then the flight arrived at Bangkok two hours late .

Similar birth happened in Africa on a Turkish Airways Flight 3 years ago .

In 2007 a baby girl was born on a flight from Amman to Doha . She got the name Qatarina and free flights for life if I remember well .
