These are popular courses where your kids and teens can learn new skills and socialize during the summer holidays at VCUQatar in Education City. You can choose from a variety of programs for various age groups in July / August. Classes start on July 9.

  Arts Intensive for ages 16+

  What to expect ?  explore art and design   with painting, printmaking, silk painting and dyeing, paper mache, computer graphics and photography. Daily creative exercises will also help build drawing skills and comfort with material usage .

 2 . at IAID (Academy for Dance, Music & Arts) in the old airport area

 When ? Registration for late spring classes closes April 18th, 2015 .For summer on June 20th .(but as seats sell out early)

 What to expect ? a large selection of art, design and craft courses
 - photo ,painting ,collage ,digital illustration ,fashion design ,silver jewelry design ,paper art ,
Arabic Calligraphy ,Islamic patterns ,Graphic design

Who can apply ? anybody living in Qatar though most
 of the courses are for the bigger ones kids can also find courses

Language of teaching : mostly English , some courses are in Arabic

Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar organizes non-credit community classes in art .All classes are open to both women and men and unless otherwise noted are taught in English at the Recreation & Sports Center located within Education City on Al Luqta Street, Doha.
