Top 100 Companies in the Middle East - Forbes list

 Saudi Arabia is leading with 37 companies  with Saudi Aramco at #1,  the U.A.E.  goes next  with 20 companies led by the First Abu Dhabi Bank at #4.  Qatar is third with 17 companies led by QNB at #2.

The banking and financial services  seem to be the most succesful . Then comes  the construction and industrials sectors . Telecommunications is third one .

 A Saudi prince is the first - then comes a Lebanoni business man who makes his fortune by banking - in the list of the first ten richest there is no Qatari at all . 54 th is Sheikh Faisal Qassem Faisal Al Thani with an estimated fortune of 837 million dollars from manufacturing .96th is Khalid Al Thani with 167 million dollars from a transportation company .
