From Raffles to Handcuffs - a case in Kuwait

It happened in March... an over-lucky expat in Kuwait ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ผ managed to win FOUR cars in a single year through raffle draws. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿš—๐Ÿš—๐Ÿš— Like, seriously — what kind of fairy godmother was working overtime for her?! ๐Ÿงž‍♀️✨

But just when it looked like she might open her own car dealership, ๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿ’ผ authorities started asking questions. Because, well... winning that many times isn't just suspicious — it's lottery-level sketchy. ๐ŸŽฐ๐Ÿ‘€

Turns out, there might’ve been more going on than lady luck. ๐Ÿ•ต️‍♂️ So right as she tried to flee the country ✈️ (with a suitcase full of good fortune, presumably), she got stopped at the airport. ✋๐Ÿ˜ณ And who was right there helping her escape? Her husband. ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿšซ He got arrested too.

One of the prize cars had even been transferred to him. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿงพ Not looking so innocent now, huh?

The shopping festival suspended its prize distribution ๐Ÿ›️⛔ and Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior launched an investigation to keep things clean and fair. ๐Ÿงผ⚖️ Because when the same name keeps popping up on the prize list… yeah, people notice. ๐Ÿ“‹๐Ÿšจ

Moral of the story? If it seems too good to be true — it probably is. And if you win 4 cars in a year? Maybe don't try to escape with them all at once. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ
