Preparing for the long Hot Season in Qatar -part one

 Physical Adjustments

Hydration:



Drink plenty of water throughout the day

Avoid excessive consumption of caffeinated or sugary beverages

Clothing and Skin Protection:





Wear light, breathable clothing

Use sunscreen to protect the skin and regulate body temperature

Outdoor Work:





Take regular breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas

Employers should provide adequate hydration and rest opportunities

Adjust work hours to cooler times (early mornings or late afternoons)
