Flydubai flight FZ576 had bird strike

 

#flydubai Boeing 737-800 (A6-FED) experienced bird strike shortly after takeoff from #Kathmandu. Flight #FZ576 continued its journey to #Dubai and arrived safely after 4 hrs and 37 mins.

 A spokeswoman for the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal claimed that an engine on the flydubai aircraft with 167 passengers caught fire immediately after takeoff from Kathmandu. Fire was under control.
