Bouthayna Al Muftah, a graduate of the VCUarts Qatar program, is the artist behind the official poster for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
For the first time, a series of posters, totaling eight in number, has been designed specifically for the tournament. Bouthayna is responsible for the design of all of the posters in the series.
Bouthayna discusses both the sources of her inspiration and her goals for the artwork in this video.
