Sleeping is good - improving work-life balance in Qatar

 

Sleeping is good—sleeping is necessary. A good sleep can work wonders. It can eliminate bad moods, dark thoughts, and make everyone around you happier. What were the Qatari authorities thinking when they decided that government employees can sleep more? That they can arrive late by up to 7 hours a month without any explanation? Was it because recent statistics showed that Qatar’s sleeping habits are very poor? That we are one of the most sleep-deprived countries in the world? And if the experiment is successful, will it extend to other employees as well?"
